Monetary Gold Company Info & Background

For two decades, Monetary Gold has been a leading precious metals investment company. It was established in 2000, and is headquartered in Woodland Hills, California. In addition to being a precious metals dealer, the company also assists clients with setting up Precious Metals IRAs.

Monetary Gold offers a good selection of gold and silver products. The company has three different investment categories of precious metals, depending on what clients are looking for: bullion coins, semi-numismatic coins, and certified-graded coins. Therefore, the Monetary Gold catalog of products appeals to everyone from retirement savers, to investors, to collectors, alike.

Moreover, the company has a comprehensive resource section providing customers with a plethora of information pertaining to investing in precious metals, investment news, charts, and videos. The company also offers a free coin guide for those investors inclined towards coin investment rather than bars.

Monetary Gold Management Team

Curiously,  Monetary Gold is not transparent about its management team in any capacity. Unlike most other precious metals investment companies, even its LinkedIn page provides no information on who leads the firm.

Monetary Gold Custodian and Storage

Monetary Gold has partnered with the renowned Delaware Depository for storage options of precious metals bullion. Its Wilmington, Delaware facility is state-of-the-art and fully insured through Llyod’s of London. Clients have the option to choose either segregated or non-segregated storage. In addition, should you desire, you can personally inspect your gold and silver holdings at the depository.

Delaware Depository also has international vault storage options utilizing the sub-custody services of Bank of Nova Scotia in Toronto, ON, Canada, and Via MAT International located in Zurich, Switzerland.

Monetary Gold has partnered with IRA custodian, GoldStar Trust Company.

Monetary Gold Products

Monetary Gold has a wide range of IRA-eligible bullion coins, semi-numismatic coins, and certified-graded coins.
