Oxford Gold Group Company Info & Background
Founded in 2018, Oxford Gold Group is a precious metals investment firm. The company is headquartered in Beverly Hills, California. Oxford Gold Group states that it specializes in “ converting your existing IRA or eligible 401(K) into gold or other precious metals, as well as providing clients with the best pricing and service should you decide to have precious metals delivered directly to you outside of your retirement account.”
The primary focus of Oxford Gold Group is providing investors with the opportunity to include precious metals in their portfolios. Be it retirement savers wishing to add IRA-eligible metals to a Precious Metals IRA, collectors, or investors wishing to gain exposure to metals, the product selection is diverse.

The company’s website has an entire “Learning Center” section dedicated to a myriad of topics pertaining to precious metals and metals investment. Oxford Gold Group Management Team
Unlike other precious metals IRA companies, the Oxford Gold Group website provides no transparency regarding its management team.
LinkedIn does list Patrick Granfar as the company’s co-founder and president.
Oxford Gold Group Custodian and Storage
It would appear that Oxford Gold Group has not partnered with any specific self-directed IRA custodian. In the company’s “How to Invest in a Gold IRA” section it states:
“You can open your IRA account with any verified and accredited custodian of your choice. You want a custodian you can trust with your assets, so make sure to consider all options before committing to one.”
Storage is provided by the Delaware Depository, which is fully insured through Llyod’s of London. Clients have the option to choose either segregated or non-segregated storage. In addition, should you desire, you can personally inspect your gold and silver holdings at the depository.
Delaware Depository also has international vault storage options utilizing the sub-custody services of Bank of Nova Scotia in Toronto, ON, Canada, and Via MAT International located in Zurich, Switzerland.
