About Our Reviews

We are an independent financial magazine that aims at providing you with information about investment options for sophisticated and accredited investors.

For the companies we review on this site, our Global Score (GS) is calculated using the Arithmetic Weighted Mean from all the ratings we can gather from trusted third party review sources. These sites include:

  • Facebook
  • ShopperApproved

Note: this list may change occasionally, so make sure you check back often. Our goal is to only include trusted review sites that are known for their impartial and unbiased review system. In other words, we cannot consider review sites that have a financial incentive from the companies they review.

When we review a new product, service or company, we basically search for the company’s reviews on Google, and gather the ratings and the total amount of reviews per site. The arithmetic weighted mean from all those ratings gives us our GS (global score), which we then use in our reviews.

Depending on the type of product, company or service we are writing, we may also take into consideration things like: fees, support and longevity. 

The Review Process

We believe that using this mathematical model ensures that our reviews are objective and NOT subjective. This gives our audience a clear picture of a company’s ratings across the web, and helps them in deciding whether or not they want to make a purchase with said company.
